Pours a hazy rich mahogany color. Little to no head with this pour. Smell is sweet with some brown sugar and some hops. Taste is very sweet. Alcohol is masked very well. Like a sugar cube is in my beer! Still impressed they masked the 22 percent of alcohol. Nice work duclaw.

Omg boozy, wow, sweet and alcohol, 22% and I taste every sip, crazy stuff. Ghanks to the random friend that provided this tick.

spices are coming out a lot more qith the cinnamon blending well with the fruity sweetness,

(1L flip-top bottle, courtesy of ericandersnavy) Pours a clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, apple, herbs, orange, cinnamon, and maple. Flavor of honey, raisins, maple, caramel malt, some cherry, and light herbs.

Pours copper with sparse carbonation. Smells of molasses, warming alcohol. Tastes of pronounced alcohol, sweet, some molasses. Cloying sweetness on the finish.

Courtesy of ericandersnavy. Clear amber color with a fleeting head. Big malty sweet n spicy fruity aromas. Wonder bread malty flavors with sweet pit fruits, spicy caramel, tough to spot the 21%abv here. Gotta try this heated sometime.

1L bottle @Noogfest High5 Thanks thebeersommolier–pours no head and amber color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, medium fruit. Taste is sweet medium malt, medium fruit, woody, syrupy. As a sipper for a sample size 3.4, can’t see a pint of this though.

Bottle sample at Noogfest High 5 thanks to TheBeerSommelier. Poured amber with an off-white head that settles to a ring. Aroma of fruit and caramel. The flavor found brown sugar, fruit, spice, and hints of perfume. Medium body and sweet throughout.

bottle at RBWG pours light caramel with a medium off white head. Aroma is strong booze, and light notes of dark berries. Super sweet rock candy and syrup flavor with a HUGE alcohol burn in the finish.

Sampled at the Ohio group tasting on DLD eve ’09. I was told to be careful with this one. Clear amber pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of alcohol, fruit, sweet malt and honey. Honey flavor with a nice alcohol burn. Definitely reminds me more of a mead than a beer.
