COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Devil’s Milk is an American-style Barley Wine. This beer exhibits a wealth of fruit flavors, from pears to plums to raisins. Devil’s Milk is dry hopped (hops added after fermentation) for a strong bite that balances its big malt backbone. Served in a snifter glass because of the high abv, barley wines are perfect as a relaxing “after-dinner” drink or nitecap.

Pours somewhat clear amber with a grayish sandy head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is lightly sweet malts with no bite. The flavor brings sweet malts as well, but not resiny or pungent, smooth sweetness that works so well with the carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear, dark copper with thin, fizzy off-white head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma is toasted, caramel, and cracker malts, pine and floral hops, figs, and light dates. Flavor is balanced sweet malts and pine resin which causes a mix of sweetness and bitterness along with dark fruit esters, light woody notes, and vanilla; dry, bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Clear amber whiskey like pour, thin creamy bubbly off white head and very light sticky lacing. ... Aroma of faded citrusy hops, dark fruits, chewy caramel/toasted malts and boozy .... Mouthfeel is thick, oily and slick ... Taste is bitter and of faded citrusy hops, slightly piney/earthy hops, dark fruits, chewy caramel malts and rich toasted malts ... Quite a bit of warming abv ... Finish is malty with a bitter and warming finish ... Well done def aging a couple of these so the booze flavors can tone down a little
