COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Devil’s Milk is an American-style Barley Wine. This beer exhibits a wealth of fruit flavors, from pears to plums to raisins. Devil’s Milk is dry hopped (hops added after fermentation) for a strong bite that balances its big malt backbone. Served in a snifter glass because of the high abv, barley wines are perfect as a relaxing “after-dinner” drink or nitecap.

Bottle thanks to JohnGalt1. Pours out a dark hazy copper topped with a tall head. Aroma was sweet caramel, brown sugar, rich malts, and citrus hops. Taste was more of the sweetness with the caramel and brown sugar leading the way. Also a good amount of pit fruit and citrus hops to round it all out.

Bottle shared in Texas by ericandersnavy. Definitely an American style because of the more pronounced hop notes but also some brown sugar, strong malts and rum to balance things out.

Bottle shared by Daknole. Pours cloudy amber with a half finger off-white head. The nose is caramel and fruity hops. The taste is dried fruits, toffee and citrus with a touch of pine in the finish. Pretty sweet but not bad. Thanks Dak!

Thanks to daknole. Bottle pours amber with a red hue and white head that quickly disappears. Aroma smells of caramel, brown sugar, grapefruit, and pine. Flavor shows the same with notes of raisins and honey. Overall body is moderate, lightly sweet, and finishes moderately bitter.

Orange/reddish pour. Whitish head. Honey, citrus hops, apples and a light boozy note. Flavor is sweet and hoppy...citrus hops, light honey, apples. Nice stuff!

beer of summer @ OTH. copper color, tan head. aroma and flavors, solid barley wine, lots of nice caramel malts, brown sugar, light bitterness in the finish, warming abv, bready mouthfeel, dark fruits. Slow sipper, and nicely done, hops are there though not overpowering, leaving plenty of room for the malt, sugar and fruits to develop.

On tap at Bowie location. Pours clear dark amber with small tan head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel, some dark fruits, and hops. Flavor is dominated by sweet malts with some caramel, dark fruits, and hop bitterness mixed in. Finishes sweet and boozy.
