3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Looks and smells like dark chocolate in a glas. The raspberry aroma and taste didn’t come through too much, but I’m okay with that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a dark ruby brown color with a large frothy brown head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate and berry aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet toasted malt and fruit flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. My expectations where met.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark brown, almost black color with a two finger beige head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Deeply roasted, almost acrid dark malt aroma with hints of burnt toast, dark chocolate, oatmeal, stale coffee and cigarette. Not picking up any fruit. Smells pretty harsh and one dimensional.
Medium body with very tight carbonation. Lots of deeply roasted, burnt dark malt dominating the flavor with raspberry sweetness in the finish. Hints of burnt toast, coffee, dark chocolate and oatmeal making it a bit acrid and overly roasted before the raspberry sweetness comes in. Very intense and in dire need of some more sweetness to balance things out.

Bottle shared by a friend. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Strange plasticky aroma with some chocolate, roast and raspberry. Malty and chocolatey flavor with raspberry in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big chocolate notes, mocha, roasted malts, vanilla, faint fruits and a dusty note. The taste is berries, chocolate, roasted malts, cocoa and mild hops. Medium-full bodied. Decent.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2012 I liked this one better than the regular naked fish. The raspberry didn’t come off as quite so ’fake’ this time. Nice brown pour with fair tan head. Good chocolate and raspberry aromas and flavors. Not overly sweet which is always a good thing. Smooth, almost silky on the tongue. Very tasty indeed!
Just had this paired with some chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It was one of the best pairings I had in my whole life. the peanut butter absolutely PERFECTLY complimented and highlighted the wonderful raspberry and rich chocolate in this beer

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle… Pours black with a small, creamy, beige head. The bouquet offers a decadent swirl of milk chocolate, espresso, black cherry and raspberry jam. Full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor is roasty, burnt and fruity – raspberry, dark chocolate and a splash of espresso. Finishes warming and chocolaty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black with a tan head, little retention, little head... Aroma is of chocolate raspberry some light roastiness, but the raspberry is quite notable... Very fruity flavor chocolate and raspberry dominate fully though the beer is not very sweet... Fairly lively medium to full bodied... Interesting, definitely a place in the dessert world for beers like this...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark brown with a thin mocha head. Aroma has dark chocolate and raspberry...like the candies with the fruit jelly inside. Flavor follows suit but less sweet...some burnt roasty notes too...notable raspberry. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is bitter/burnt dark chocolate.
