With double the rich dark chocolate and raspberry aroma and flavors of our Naked Fish stout, and an exquisitely dry, chocolatey finish from the addition of chocolate during conditioning, it’s easy to become obsessed with catching this unique, monstrously flavorful stout, but be warned... you may need a bigger glass.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2012 I liked this one better than the regular naked fish. The raspberry didn’t come off as quite so ’fake’ this time. Nice brown pour with fair tan head. Good chocolate and raspberry aromas and flavors. Not overly sweet which is always a good thing. Smooth, almost silky on the tongue. Very tasty indeed! Just had this paired with some chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It was one of the best pairings I had in my whole life. the peanut butter absolutely PERFECTLY complimented and highlighted the wonderful raspberry and rich chocolate in this beer

A heavy stout with a near pitch black color; almost syrupy in texture. Has a full mouthfeel with a distinct raspberry dark chocolate taste with a hint of coffee, smokiness, and malts. Quite good.

(Bottle) Pours dark brown to black with a nougat coloured head. The aroma holds chocolate, raspberries, blueberries, light caramel, milk, touch of liquorice and a touch of hops. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with creamy chocolate, light raspberries, blackberries and soft caramel. The mouthfeel is soft and almost velvety with a light to medium carbonation. Soft roasted, almost bready finish. Near medium bodied.

Draft at Bowie location on 02/18/12. Came to the table a dark mahogany color with a skim of a beige head. There was a subtle aroma at first that featured some raspberries, chocolate, coffee, and some caramel. Rich dark chocolate and tangy raspberries really came out as things warmed up a bit. Went down fairly smooth and relatively thin to medium-bodied. The level of carbonation was a tad low. The taste started with plenty of dark chocolate, some caramel, and LOADS of tangy raspberries. There was a mildly bittering roasted coffee quality at the end. Delicious!

22 oz bottle - pours deep mahogany with medium-large tan head, slight crimson highlights, fully diminishing with decent lacing. Raspberry chocolate in the nose (duh) with hints of hay and grain. Raspberry aromas become more pronounced as temperature warms. Medium-full palate with tastes of light bitter chocolate, creamy long finish. Not too heavy, just right.

22 oz. bottle via trade. Pours dark brown in color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma is dark chocolate, roasted malts, raspberry and blackberry; actually pretty nice as it warmed. The flavor has dark chocolate, roasted malts that show a hint of char, and a nice raspberry fruitiness. Mouth feel is softer with a medium body and slightly dry finish.

Dark black color with thin light brown head. Aroma and flavor have much stronger chocolate and raspberry notes in this than in the regular Naked Fish. It’s much bolder and actually pretty good.
