COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve DOUBLED the spicing of our Spiced Munich Dunkel, "31", to take the taste of this amber colored, medium-bodied German-style lager to a new level of flavor. Double Spiced “31” indulges your senses with its smooth, malty palate, moderate 5.2% abv, and double helping of fall spices for a refreshingly intense finish of cinnamon and nutmeg that makes it twice the treat and still no tricks.

Bottle. Dark hazy maroonish amber color, large off white head. Aroma of perfume, aromatic spice, cinnamon. Taste is heavily spiced, powdery cinnamon and malt. Medium to light body. Interesting.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes. Pours a clear rust color with a medium sized fizzy tan head that fades quickly. Spices dominate the aroma, citrus and nutmeg, with some apple and toffee notes. The taste is apple, spices, caramel, nutty notes and an herbal hop finish. Medium bodied. Not liking this too much.

Pours a sort of reddish copper color. Sort of similar to the color of the label! Light brown head. Smells pretty spicy! Some cinnamon and brown sugar. Not too shabby!

Poured a hazy red-copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Lots of nutmeg and cinnamon in the aroma. Reminds me of a pumpkin beer. Very malty as well. Taste is very smooth, not over-spiced like I expected. Maybe a little too much nutmeg now that I think about it. Some caramel to balance everything out. Overall it’s pretty drinkable but a bit strange.

Bottle. Copper pour with a short, dense tan head. Aroma is a mix of spices atop caramel and sweet maltiness. Clove and cinnamon stand out in the aroma. Taste is big cinnamon and nutmeg with clove, caramel, dark bread and sweet malt notes. Body is rather chewy and medium overall with a bubbly, dense carbonation. Ends with more caramel, cinnamon, donuts, sweet malt, clove and bready notes.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a reddish amber body with a smallish antique white head. A nicely spiced aroma that features plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice to go along with some caramel maltiness. Goes down relatively thin to medium-bodied and fairly crisp. The taste starts with plenty of caramel and a light biscuity maltiness. Some bananas follow along with a little grassiness at the end. A tad sour in the finish. Not the best, but this would still be a great brew for the fall.
