On tap at Duclaw, Bowie on 14 July 2006. Mid brown / copper colour - quite good looking. Sweet shop confectionery, cream soda and bubblegum are prominent in the aroma and flavour. Very sweet and rather sickly. Not really my thing at all. Certainly not euphoric.

4oz sample from a flight. Pour is tarnished brass with a finger of cream colored foam on top. Nose is almonds, toffee, caramel corn, butter, and malt. Taste is right on with a caramel nut finish. This may be a desert brew, but darn is it diverse and scrumptious. It’s more like a Christmas dessert than a beer. Time to look forward to the holidays! :)

Shared with Travlr, on tap. Dark amber color with minimum white head. Smells sweet, nice. Hazelnut flavors jump out in the first moments on the tongue, followed by caramel and sugar. It does seem a bit thin/watery though. Average
