12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown nut caramel color. Smells of nut, toffee, vanilla, caramel, and butter. Taste is a strong caramel with hints of coffee, hops, nut, and vanilla. Nice.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2012 Did not like this bee very much. Did not get the toffee as advertised. It wasn’t creamy either, more bubbly with a weird ting in the throat. Also, wasn’t very brown, more amber.

Too much toffee character. If you’re a fan of flavored coffees then this might appeal to you.

12 ounce bottle from Once Upon a Vine. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a thin creamy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of brown malts, grain, chocolate and caramel. The taste is toffee, brown malts, faint hops. Medium bodied. Solid beer. 5400th rating!

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2012 Dog brown with a bit of white head. Aroma is about what you’d expect with the nutty roast, and then there’s a well blended espresso over top of that. Tastes as it smells, though perhaps a lighter touch in flavor and viscosity. Toffee notes into the finish. $2/12oz

I’m sorry but this is the best beer I’ve ever had. The flavors blend so well. I’m not a hop fan, hate ipas. This beer is "LIQUID GOLD". I wish I didn’t have to to MD to get it.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear copper with a medium beige head. Malty aroma with notes of toffee, nuts and earthy hops. Malty flavor with caramel and huge toffee character before an earthy finish. Pretty tasty.

Clear brown pour with reddish highlights and thin layer of offwhite head. Smells of caramel and hazelnut, but the aroma is a bit faint. Flavor is not as understated. Very matly caramel and toffee. Sweet, but not too sweet. This was pretty damn good actually.

bottle from beckley’s consumed 6/15/12. clear auburn/mahogany/dark amber with an ow tinted head. aroma is as promised...loads of toffee, toasted nuts, vanilla, some malt and maybe some chocolate/coffee business. the flavor is much the same but with some numbing grassy/herbal hops and spice along with some slight acidity on the finish. it’s fairly highly carbonated and rather thin...though it is very crisp and easy to put away. 7/3/7/3/15

This poured a semi cloudy lighter brown color with a beige head. Aroma was of nuts, toffee, very light chocolate and caramel too. Flavor was very rich toffee and caramel notes, good amounts of nuttienss too, almost peanutbutter esque. One of my favorite nut browns i’ve ever had. Well done.
