COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Someone call George Clinton because the Funk is about to arrive. DuClaw’s latest creation, Funk, is a blueberry citrus wheat ale that screams summer with an almost shandy-like crispness and flavor. This brew features Meyer lemons and blueberries as well as Cascade and Columbus hops. Look for this beer on shelves starting next Friday.

Strong blueberry aroma. Hazy yellow appearance. Flavor has blueberries in the forefront. Slight citrus note on the backend. Mouthfeel is medium light with medium carbonation. Overall it's a decent fruit beer. A little too much blueberry though. It overshadows the other components of the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Clear light amber, smooth white head, globs of lace. Taste is wheat. Ad malt with light blueberry and lemon. Medium carbonation in the swallow, mild hops to finish. This one is light and understated for me. The fizz gives it energy, otherwise it’s a light hot weather brew. Wouldn’t repeat.

Pretty solid fruit! Plain golden pour w/ a nice & subtle blueberry aroma. The taste is mildly fruity & rather drinkable. Decent!

12 oz bottle into a lager glass. 18 March 2016 packaging date. Light body with medium+ carbonation and a dry finish. Aroma: earthy hops, lemon, blueberry puree and wheat. Flavor: a well balanced mix of blueberries, grains and hops, with the blueberry readily detectable but conservatively added, allowing the hops and grains to dominate. Some lemon in the finish. Overall: not funky bur rather clean and refreshing.

Poured from bottle. Nice blueberry muffin. Appearance is gold with a bit of head. Tasting dry wheat, blueberry, citrus hops, blueberry syrup in aftertaste. Palate is slightly dry and balanced. Overall, I’m usually disappointed when it comes to this style, but this is quite nice.

Bottle. Blueberry syrup and light malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet blueberry, light toffee malt, and very lightly bitter straw flavor. Body on the light side. A basic fruit beer - no off flavors but otherwise pretty boring.

from Drinks of the World - clear golden-orange beer with a poor head retention; aroma of wheat and blueberry syrup; sweet, light sticky, gently dry; aftertaste of rose, candy sugar and blueberry syrup - no thanks

Bottle: Hazy, light orange with a small white head. Blueberry, grain malt scent. Wheat malt, juicy blueberry taste. Not too tart, not too sweet.... Pretty nice, understated blueberry notes. Light, mild and flavourful. A nice one.

Feety blueberry nose. Cloudy amber, fine floaties, thin head. Crisp lemony wheat base, artificial blueberry highlights. Light body, moderate carbonation.
