Bottle shared at Natifest ’13. Poured clear dark orange in color with an average white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy dark sweet malt, vanilla wood and earthy hop aroma. Moderate to heavy smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor to medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met with a complex beer.

Really tasty and drinkable barleywine. Carmel taste up front, then the wood, and a tasty sticky hop finish.
