A medium-bodied, golden IPA that gets in your face from first sweet sip to crisp, dry finish with the exotic tropical fruit flavors and aromas of New Zealand Motueka hops. With just enough malt character to keep the aggressive hop presence in check, and an unruly 7.5% abv, this brew was seemingly born to kick ass. And RAZE HELL!

This was purchased from the new Libbie Market at Ridgefield. The new grocer in the West End has an excellent selection of beers. This IPA poured a light amber with a white head and serious lacing down the glass. This medium bodied ale is an excellent beverage. The carbonation is averge. The citrus aroma from the hops captures your attention from the start. The finish has a nice bitterness that stays in the top of your mouth. The finish is a smooth with some lingering bitterness.

Weak orange peel nose. Clear orange, thin yellow head. Surprisingly strong flavor of whole orange, peanut hulls. Orange peel finish. Strong, full flavored, but medium bodied, not heavy.

Bottle. The hoppy, sweet aroma hints at some fruit I've never had, maybe with maple syrup. The flavor's also juicy, confusing, and neither bad nor delicious. I'm sure these weird characteristics come from the hops, and I can't decide what I think about them, but they're unique. Very much worth trying...not sure about buying again.

Copper in color. That’s a boring statement but really is the best description you can give it. Along with a small sudsy lingering head that you see through. The aroma, like the flavor is sweeter and maltier than I though it would be. It’s too sweet though almost cloyingly so.

Draft… Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Fruity, bready nose - apricot, peach, biscuit and cracker malts. Full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor leans a touch toward the sweet side of balance, but there is some really nice citrus rind and tropical fruit bitterness as well. Bittersweet finish with lingering, resiny, rindy bitterness.

Where, where to start on this one. Pours a light orange color with w white head. Aroma of lgiht pine, lots of soap, some stale malt and light lemon peel. Flavor was straight soap water, very bitter, but not from the ibus as much as astringency. Difficult to drink.

Bottle. Amber bodied with a tall, foamy beige head. The hop aroma on this is very herbal and minty with lots of fruit notes. There’s a touch of caramel in the nose as well. Taste is herbal and floral hops, tropical fruit notes, light pine, and caramel. Body is medium with a soft bubbly carbonation and a lingering mint-like hoppy mouthfeel. Ends with more tropical fruit notes, herbal hops, floral notes, and caramel.
