3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not exactly worthy of the name. Has some soda like carb, but after drinking a DIPA from Green Flash and one from 21st Amendment, it?s hard to give this one equal footing. Solid, and I would drink it again, but I?d rename it first.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear, bubbly amber with a thick eggshell head. Aroma has a firm note of resiny hops and a flowery hint. Flavor is hoppy, a little bitter, and - um, that’s it. Not great, but palatable. Texture is about average in both fizz and viscosity. Fair to middlin’, but worth a fair shake.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty Good IPA poured from a bottle a hazy orange color. Floral and citrus notes are distinct in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet and finishes bitter, but not too bitter. I would like to try this from a tap.

Pour at PGH Beer Fest. Hazy orange pour. Aroma is floral and herbal. Not too much citrus. Malty taste. Not great.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a cloudy orange color. Decent floral nose. Taste has some citrus up front (not much), but goes straight to a bitter finish. Not all that well structured. Alcohol not well hidden. Meh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden amber color with a billowy white head of one finger height. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is biggest of a citrus sweet smell with it being a mix of tangerine and orange as well as containing some other sweet smells of caramel. A little bit of bread as well as some hops of a grapefruit, herbal, and floral hop smell mingle with the rest of the smells.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather malty and bready taste with a good showing of a sweeter caramel and toffee flavor. As the taste advances, some hop flavors of grapefruit greet the tongue, starting out rather light, but gaining strength as the taste advances. With the increase in the grapefruit hop comes some flavors of a floral and earthy nature with the flavors drying out some as the bready transition to a slightly more cracker nature and some of the sweeter caramel fades. In the end, with the transitions of flavors that occurs throughout the taste, one is left with a semi-sweet and rather malty, moderately hopped (for an IPA of 7.5 %) flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The beer was on the slightly thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that was on the lower side. The lower carbonation and thicker body really accentuated the sweeter and maltier flavors of the brew allowing them to really stand out, but did very little for the lighter to moderate hop flavors overall. Overall the feel was just OK.
Overall – An aright IPA; with it being very easy drinking and smooth, but not really delivering a great hop hit. Just OK overall.

So I put off rating d becasue of the sweet bayby ho-zay confict, but got over that. Slightly weeird oroma of oiled saddles. Cloudy yellah. cramy head. taste evolves. starts rather friendly and then goes to ignor you then rizes to get in yer face. Finish is same as the minutes continue.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Just found the notes on this.
I’ve had this twice and it was in a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice slightly hazy orange but it still showed a decent looking transparency. The head was about a nice white color that dissipated within less than thirty seconds and it left a decent looking soapy looking lacing.
The smell had a decent allocation of piney to citrus to earthy hops.
The taste was mostly bitter but it did allow a decent sweetness to come out as the beer warmed.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a medium in body with a fairly decent sessionability running about the mouth and tongue. The carbonation was good for the style as it had a good harshness pummeling my tongue.
Overall, good AIPA well worthy of having again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle. Pine and citrus hops and ocean in aroma. Solid amber with just a bit of head. I taste a ton of hops, grapefruit/citrus followed by pine, floral and grass. Malt is sweet, almost honey flavor - complements hops nicely. Pear notes. Alcohol flavor in back. Good drinkability for a beer with this much going on. Great IPA.
