3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 illinismitty (2269) - Nashville, USA - AUG 8, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2008 Draft at Bel Air. Pours amber with a dissipating white head. Nice floral and fruity nose. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Toffee/ caramel like maltiness (with a hint of toastiness that fades as it warms) countered by an aggressive grapefruit rind bitterness that carries through to the finish. Some slight lingering resin as well. I swear I taste a hint of noble hops. As a guy that is picky about IPAs, this is decent.
