Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 12, 2006
Draft at th Bowie location. I believe mine was spelled Kizmet. A dark yellow beer with a lazing dense white head. The aroma is fresh with a lot of citrus and some malt. The flavor is nicely hoppy with notes of grapefruit (Cascade?) on an OK malty background and leading to a very dry hoppy finish.

I had this beer at the Fells Point locale. I should have stayed and drank more, but I had to go to some retarded "art" show. I gotta give up on these artist girls. Ok. As for the beer. It was a golden yellow with a thin white head. Rather thin mouthfeel with hints of lemon and malt on the tongue, but plenty of hops. Mild finish with a slight metalic aftertaste. Not a bad brew.

Sparkling golden body topped by a very small white head. The aroma is quite hoppy with a slight graininess. The flavor is refreshing with a burst of juicy hops, medium bitterness. Light on the palate, a bit too fizzy. A very nice hot weather beer.

3fourths (6406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 22, 2006
Draft at DuClaw in Baltimore, July 2006. Clear, medium yellow colored body, with strings of bubbles rising throughout the glass. Crisp, bubbly, peppery, lively on the tongue, but mostly from the carbonation rather than yeast and/or hops. Tinny pine wood and copper metallic twinge to the hops. A little too fizzy, like Sprite, with a mildly soapy finish.

I remember this beer as one I thought little of. Has a palate that is harsh. Like one of those beers that is only 6% abv but for some reason it kicks your ass. A mediocre IPA, and a mediocre IPA is offensive at best.
