Reviewed from notes.
Pours a moderate amber color with a light tan head. The nose brings some lightly-toasted malt and biscuits as well as light pine and citrus hops. A bit of an earthy character there as well. Taste is light malt with a bit of hops. Slightly bitter and dry feel with a good body. Drinks pretty well and is another well-made beer from DuClaw.

On tap at Duclaw, Bowie on 14 July 2006. Quite handsome - clear, bright, mid coppery-red in colour. Hint of smoky malt in the aroma. Some sweetish caramel in the flavour. Pretty unremarkable on the palate until a metallic tang kicks in at the finish. Not really my thing.
