COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The winner of Baltimore Magazine’s “Best Beer in Baltimore 1998.” We’d like to thank the smooth, roasted malt flavor. The mild hop presence. The little people.

Shared with Travlr, on tap. Nice red color with thin white head. Smells malty and continues that trend into the tasting. Definite roast flavor, mildly burnt and slightly watery. Average amber.

Pours a deep red color which looks almost a brownish color. Little to no head. Smells of malts. Taste is similar with some hops in it. Tasty.

on tap arundel mills 6/13/10. orange amber with a lasting white ring on top. malty caramel aroma along with notes of chocolate, toasted nuttiness (mild coffee, too), roast, cream and orange. the flavor is the same only milder and with a crisp finish. the medium body gets a bit thin as it sits and loses carbonation. 7/3/6/3/14/3.3

On tap at Bowie location. Pours reddish amber with off-white head. Aromas of light roasted malt, light toffee, and some hops. Flavors of roasted malts, some toffee, light hops, and light citrus. Your average red ale.

strongpieman (689) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Draft at Arundel Mills - Didn’t like this one very much. Expected a very drinkable red, but the taste really was off. Color / appearance was good and inviting. Not recommended, but maybe this was a bad batch.
