COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The winner of Baltimore Magazine’s “Best Beer in Baltimore 1998.” We’d like to thank the smooth, roasted malt flavor. The mild hop presence. The little people.

It is amber. Flavor of lightly roasted malt, little-no flavor hops, light, clean bitter finish. Nothing too challenging, probably the choice for those who want something a little more complex than the kangaroo.

decent, smooth, colorful. hints of caremel or toffee although vety mild. very light fluffy and refreshing. everything is pretty well balanced but this beer doesnt have anything that stands out nor is it rich enough to stand alone as it is.

Draft, pours a nice amber color, with a sweet smell. great after taste with a trace of hops. I definitely agree with boto, this would be a great session beer.

A sweet malty aroma, and a beautiful light red color. Very thin and weak flavor, with a good dose of malt but woefully short on hops.

Growler from Fell’s Point. This beer’s strength is its simplicity. The balance is good, the beer is crisp, and there is less aftertaste than I expected. I would drink this anytime.

DuClaw’s Misfit Red is okay. Color is in between amber and red. The aroma and flavor is malty and sweet, with slight hops.

Draft at Bel Air location. Pretty cut and dry here. Red color, bland taste. Just not much too this one.

On tap at Bel Air. Had malty, caramel, and bread type aroma. Poured a dark orange amber with a light tan head. Not very hoppy, caramel flavors and toasted malts. Medium bodied.

Has a nice deep color. Very nice aroma for a Red. It is my go to beer at DuClaw if the seasonal is out.
