COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gourmet chocolate raspberry coffee is used in the brewing process to achieve this unique flavor and aroma. With a rich dark color this medium bodied stout finishes fairly dry with subtle hints of chocolate, coffee and raspberry flavors.

Tap. Pours dark brown with thin, creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, raspberries, roast malts, earthy hops, figs, and light nutty notes. Flavor is dry, roast and chocolate malts forward with some supporting raspberry sweetness and faint hop bitterness; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

This poured a medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was os strong artificial raspberry candy and chocolate. Taste was similar, very sweet and cheap candly like. Not very good.

On draft at the Porch Restaurant, Myerstown, PA for the ELCO class of 1983 30th HS reunion. This is a perfect desert beer. Rich semi-sweet chocolate raspberry is my choice in lieu of cake.

Trade extra. Kind of a dingy brown pour, with some brightish tints in there that I presume are from the fruit additions. Mild baker’s chocolate and candied fruit in the nose, along with a muted coffee. Mouthfeel a bit thin, a bit papery. Flavors quite understated, with fruit thankfully just a modest addition to the generally dry stout feel of the brew. Okay, but a bit faded and indistinct.

Strong chocolate malt smell. Maybe a hint of fruit on the nose but cocoa dominates the experience. Sharp bitter cocoa flavor with slight lingering raspberry. Pretty quick body with not a ton of complexity. lacks a large punch. Not too bad. Smooth chocolate flavors. Raspberry is nice and not overpowering.

On tap 5 oz. sampler at DuClaw in Bowie, MD. Clear, very dark mahogany with a small tan head and sparse lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, coffee, chocolate and raspberries. Taste of coffee, raspberries, chocolate and roasted malt. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mild raspberry taste. Chocolate helps. Doesn’t immaculate me too much. I’m satisfied and happy. Would drink again

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2013 Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy dark tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was fairly strong cocoa and coffee with faint vague berries and a light dry roasty presence. The flavor was bitter and a bit roasty with notes of cream, coffee, faint cocoa, an off berry presence - artificial tasting and somewhat dry. Medium length finish of cocoa, coffee and vague berries. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Odd but interesting.

The coffee raspberry aroma on this stout is top notch. The light bodied beer it is paired with is middle of the road at best. Makes you wonder the potential of this stout has gone unfufilled. Also unsure why a Raspberry Stout gets the name Naked Fish.

Pours unclear dark mahogany with a decent white head. The aroma is my favorite part, bringing smooth sweet raspberry and a hint of chocolate, not coffee persay. The body is light and flavors bring hints of chocolate and some bittersweet notes as well.
