3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This bottle was brewed over a year ago so flavor may have been affected. Piney and bitter resin flavor. Not a standout in the over-populated IPA style. A delated birthday gift bottle from Sharon & Doyle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big juicy hop aroma, with citrus and tropical fruits being the predominant notes. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. An initial kiss of caramel malts, followed up by a big blast of piney hops. This fades into a long lingering bitter finish. A nice solid IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
BOD 11/26/14. Pours a cloudy amber. Normal head volume, outstanding lacing and retention.
Nice nose of citrus hops (grapefruit, pineapple, orange) and an underlying bit of spicy pine over a rich caramel and biscuit sweetness.
Medium bodied with a rich smoothness, a bit of oil and a touch of creamy texture. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the finish.
The outstanding flavor profile is intense, rather complex and superbly balanced. It begins with a blend of hop flavors over caramel that begin to separate towards the middle after the caramel fades. Grapefruit leads, followed by pineapple and orange. The middle produces a nice piney bitterness over a distinct grapefruit rind character. The finish is a slow fade of the bitterness flavors against a faint receding sweetness of a biscuit nature. Considering this is 5 months old as I rate it, fresh should be approaching world class.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with a perfect long lasting 1 finger head. Citrusy fruit aroma of mainly grapefruit. Cracker malts, pine, huge bitterness, and cough syrup style resins are added on the taste. Not very good, too bitter and unbalanced. For 6.5% this drinks like its 12. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear dark golden body, medium sized off-white head, spotty lacing. Notes of grapefruit and orange zest. Mild crackery malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, mellow malt sweetness leaves a smooth, ever-so-slightly syrup feel. Moderate bitterness.
