Well done! Pours black with a tan head. Huge vanilla, oak, bourbon aroma. Medium bodied with lively carbonation in mouth. Finishes sweet, sticky coffee and molasses.

Barrel 15 of 20 date out of barrel 9/19/11. Dark brown to black in color with a small tan head. Aroma is rich and full of bourbon. Sweet,chocolate,coffee and wood are the most noted flavors. A great dessert beer if you like bourbon.

Growler split with some friends, from al’s, pours black with creamy beige head, light lacing. Aromas and taste of roasty barrel, bourbon, chocolate, char and molasses. Sticky palate, with a full body. Nice russian imperial stout.

Bottle: Black, thin tannish head, little lacing. Huge bourbon nose, sweet roasted malt, vanilla. Smooth on the tongue, well balanced, lots of vanilla, bourbon, candied marshmallow. Very well balanced, warming, roasty yet sweet. Lots of chocolate like notes, graham crakcer too. This one is very smooth, flavorful, yet mellow. Great balance, feels like its aged a bit. Body and mouthfeel are moderate, yet a bit silky. Lots of chocolate, bourbon, and graham cracker on the finish. The vanilla and marshmallow have disipated. Like this a lot more than I thought I would. Seems under-rated.

22 oz. bottle shared by BVery. Pours oily black brown with a wispy tan head. Aroma has soft marsh mellow vanilla and nuts. Taste is malty marsh mellow and mellow nuttiness with subtle nuts and vanilla with roasted malt and subtle bitterness. Palate is full and chalky with a dry finish.

Bomber. Very dark pour with reddish highlights. Smaller head. Bourbon and wood aroma. Taste is spicy bourbon and molasses. Really nice! Thanks budznsudz for the trade!

Bottle. Barrel 12 of 15. Thanks Kerry. Aroma of massive vanilla and coconut. Pours jet black thick, with thin tan head. Taste is tons of vanilla and oak lingering chocolate and booze. Man this is fantastic.

Black color with very little head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, oak, irish cream or something simular. Thick bodied. Creamier texture. Chewy. Warming alcohol. Medium light sweetness. Complex. Very nice. Would get again. Thanks brother-in-law!
