Wowsers. This doll is soft, dark brown in appearance, with a medium brown colored head. Its aroma is smooth, of light bourbon, and tastes aged, mellow, and classy. The flavor is of moderate roast and moderately strong alcohol, but of bold bourbon that’s lightly woody and smooth. There’s a flavor of fresh wort in the finish, rounding off well with the dominating bourbon.

Outstanding beer. Super rich, the bourbon adds a noticeable kick to the coffee and cocoa notes. Think it was barrel 8.

Big sweet flavor with bourbon, vanilla, maple, chocolate, dark fruit, and some lingering alcohol through the finish. Mouthfeel is thick with smooth carbonation and a drying finish.

Bomber from Sloth from 2011 Barrel # 11/20. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, light bourbon, and oak. pitch black with a small cinnamon-tan head. Flavor is rich lightly sweet chocolate, lots of vanilla, and hints of bourbon. Excellent stuff, wish I had a case! Kind of like a less sweet Black Tuesday.

Same tasting with Dak and Schiller. This was a very dark brown pour with a tan head. Nice aroma of Fudgy sweetness combined with bourbon, vanilla, and dark fruits. And I agree with others this has a nice sweet flavor with with Bourbon, vanilla and it is just a wonderful imperial stout.
