4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Ladyhedgehog (34) - Westminster, USA - JUN 3, 2004
Very pretty to look at, hazy gold with a nice little whitish head. It smells like madarin oranges, which is pretty much like it tastes like. Smooth and sweet with an aftertaste that is almost like orange sherbert.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bshep (28) - - APR 12, 2012
Seemed to have a kind of blueberry taste, but not that overpowering taste like Wild Blue has.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 arone12 (772) - Maryland, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Pours a light yellow color with a hazy look to it. Smells like Belgian yeast! And some wheat. Some grapefruit as well! Taste is light and refreshing. Mmm
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Drake (5232) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAR 28, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg, VA. Good thing I had a glass handy as this was a gusher. Hazy orange with a large foamy white head that quickly fades. Aroma of tart wheat notes, citrus, spice and a toasty finish. The taste is wheat, strong citrus, some plum, strong spice, faint herbal hops. Medium bodied. Decent.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 mcnealc31 (173) - Elida, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Big white head floats on top of hazy gold. The high carbonation is very evident. Nose is overflowing with orange, coriander, and spicy yeast, just like it should be. Sweet grapes and honey come through first followed by orange and lemon. Mix of pepper and a touch of bitterness from the hops at the end. There might even be a touch of anise.
Light, crisp, refreshing. All the familiar flavors of a Belgian Witbier, with a few different ones to make it more interesting. Plus, at only 4.8% ABV, you can easily enjoy several of these. I’m quite impressed.

Bottle from lukin013. Hazy gold pour with a thick lasting white head. The aroma shows a mix of yeast, honey blossom, banana, citrus, and some grass. Pretty simple beer; very light and refreshing, nothing too sticky or sweet. Wheat, citrus, yeasty flavor with some dry herbal character in the finish. I like this. It doesn’t try to be too much and is an nice clean beer for the warmer weather.

Delicate but full flavored with a perfect blend of coriander and curacao. Slightly sweet and tart in equal measure. Small-bubbled carbonation rises to a crescendo in the finish leaving a fruity finish that is not overly drying. A spectacular flavorful version of the Belgian classic.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 seekingup2 (80) - - DEC 12, 2011
Draft at Bel Air. Very light in color and very light in herb smell. A nice finish for a white, with not too much spice.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jgb9348 (3495) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a large white head, some nice cloudy glow of honey and a trillion bubbles rising from the bottom - nice. Aroma of strong coriander seed, hay, grass, curacao, lemons and yeast - very nice. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive yeast character with a lot of spices, some coriander seed and a touch of bananas noticeable on the end. Aftertaste shows some good dry flavours, but the yeast and spices really take over, in a good way. Overall, a nice and very well crafted wit - nice to sample and definitely worthwhile to drink if you can find it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from the Lebanese Taverna Market in Arlington, Virginia on 02-October-2011 for US$2.09 sampled at home in Washington on 08-November-2011.
