3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I tasted this next to venom. This IIPA is not hoppy enough for the style. Alcohol showed a bit. Rather sweet and malt forward. If you are looking for hops drink the excellent Venom.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Had this on the 2 day special September mini-release, and yum. Aroma is a bit faint at first, but comes alive as it warms a bit. Lotsa piney hop, but no shortage of sweetness either. Flavor is huge, a very well balanced IIPA. Not all hops, but a perfect balance of extreme hop with a rich and full malt backbone. Laced all the way down. Seek this out and enjoy!

Copper-orange. Nose is creamy and hoppy. Loads of grapefruit, very tart and fruity. Decent breadiness at end.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured a dark golden color with a large white head and nice lacing. Usual IIPA Citrus hop aroma, and a SWEEET (this is a good sweet) bitter pine, resin, hop, taste.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful frothy head. Lace forms well. Definitely tastes like an IPA. Strong hop aroma and flavor. Grapefruit flavors mix well with malt. Smooth despite the hop flavor. Great beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
RBSG2003 -- Dark amber with a hops/dark sweetness nose and a nice lace ring around the glass. Almost dry mouthfeel with a quickly evaporating hop bitterness. Some citrus/grapefruit flavors but more balanced with the malts than the big NW IIPA's. Great beer that I wish I had access to.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Vibrant firey red/orange. Creamy light orange head. Very light piney aroma - at the tree tops, just a hint, sort of wind-blown, if you will. The palate is totally absent to me, it just never showed up. . . light hop/wood finish, but it just isn't enough to consider this a great beer. . . regardless, thanks for the experience hopscotch!

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A very good hop-head beer. Aroma is a little on the light side, but it makes up for that in taste. Quite malty but hops are the story. A definite alcohol burn on the way down. Hop character is pretty citrusy rather than floral.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Brown-tinged orange. Bursting citric hops (centennial?) evoke wood, grapefruit and lemon. Fat, chewy flavours simultaneously coat your tongue with chocolate malts and citric hops. Smooth...with caramel overtones. A little drippy in terms of hopping, which is the only real complaint. Otherwise quite well-made.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big alcohol and floral light hoppy aroma. Aroma is not particularly strong. Flavor is surprisingly smooth and integrated. Big, but soft.
