3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. This beer pours beautifully, copper in color a bit hazy, nice foamy white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit, some caramel and some alcohol. Taste is quite balanced, hoppy but with a nice malty backbone. Very good and drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beautiful transparent copper pour w/ a retaining white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is slightly faint for the style but there are some citrus hops notes to be found. The taste is like a light & drinkable standard ipa. It’s pretty clean as the malt presence really mellows out the citrus hops. This makes it easy on the palate & a good drinkable DIPA overall!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Oh crap I just ordered their highest Abv beer on tap. Pours copper, half inch foam head this vanishes, does leave a lacing pattern. Light pine resin nose. Taste begins with mild toast and caramel, then strong bitterness cuts in. Mild grapfruit, resin lingers. Light booze burn, medium to full body with light carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a mostly translucent gold with a finger foam head that quickly recedes. Somewhat sweet / citrus aroma. Taste is citrus, caramel, and some hops. Very smooth and easy to drink. Somewhat syrupy. Good (not great).

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed orange amber color with a small fizzy white colored head. The head fades rather fast leaving only a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is massive of a tropical fruit aroma with tons of tangerine, pineapple and mango. Along with these aromas comes some smells of a bready nature as well as a little bit of a doughy smell. Some other sweet smells of a brown sugar and honey smell are there as well. A little bit of a grapefruit hop and some light earthy hop aromas are there as well, with the overall aroma very fruity and sweet.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather sweet flavor with lots of brown sugar and a good showing of the tropical fruits that were detected in the nose. A doughy taste is present upfront as well, which as the taste advances transitions to a more bready like flavor at the end. At the start of the taste there is a lighter grapefruit hop flavor which ends up gaining a little bit of intensity as the flavor moves onto the end of the taste. Along with the grapefruit comes some flavors of an herbal and piney hop nature with a decrease in the sweeter flavors of the brew. While the sweeter fade some, they keep their presence well known, and mix with the hops and a medium strength alcohol flavor, to end up leaving a sweet, moderately hopped and slightly rummy boozed flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – For a 9 % IPA the body of the beer is on the slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. The lower carbonation is great for accentuating the pine and herbal hop flavors of the brew that develop toward the end, helping them stand out a bit more. With that said a slightly thicker body may have been a bit more appropriate, but overall the feel was rather decent.
Overall – A decent double IPA, but nothing all that special. A nice one to at least give a try to in order to see if is up your alley or not.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours light amber into the glass, with a wispy head that reduces to trace lacing. The nose is of orange liqueur and pine. Caramel, orange, tangerine and alcohol notes finish with a peppering bitter hop and ABV heat. The palate is sticky and slightly chewy with a complex full body. Nice job here.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thick but effervescent buff head. Hoppy aroma has a strong and rather sweet fruity overtone. Bold flavor is resiny hoppy, rather fruity - as much pomme as citrus - and hardly bitter or woody. Viscous texture is fairly fizzy, leaving a nice hoppy and somewhat fruity finish. A serum that you can take orally - how nice!

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Had this draft beer during the 7/4 beer tour 2014 at the Bocktown. Sweet mild aroma like a friendly fruity perfume. Yes, from the first sip its strong and mouth coating syrupy. A little lighter than most double ipa. Could actually be in the regular ipa style. Quite alky on the uptake. The finish does have this saddle thing going on.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thin head of off-white bubbles with light carbonation. Lots of caramel malts in the aroma with some tea leaves and dried fruit. Color is a hazy copper. Lots more caramel and dry earthy flavor to go along with a bit of grapefruit pith and pine sap. Light alcohol presence. Balanced pretty well. Finshes bitter with lingering tea leaves and grapefruit. A decent IIPA!
