I love beer, I love chocolate, I love peanut butter, but I loathe chocolate peanut butter porter. Go figure.

12oz bottle to tulip. Pours black with short foam tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, choc, peanut butter, toffee, caramel. Taste of same with bitter choc and dark fruits. Like a pb choc covered cherry. Med syrup mouthfeel with big carb.

Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Aroma is like a peanut butter cup with notes of chocolate and peanut butter as well as a bit of roasted malt. Pours dark brown with one finger of light brown head with good retention and not much lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt and some chocolate flavors, muck like you'd expect from a porter. Finishes smooth with a strong peanut butter sweetness that lingers on the palate. Not amazing, but the best peanut butter porter I've had.

12oz brown bottle, day 24 from the 2015 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Dark brown with floaties and sediment, holds a thin creamy beige cap. Nose of peanut butter cups. Taste is nutty with dark chocolate. Dry, roasted notes, some bitter coffee. Really good!

12 oz. bottle poured at home. Day 24 of the craft beer advent calendar and what a heck of a way to end such an awesome kit. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Smells strongly of chocolate. They nailed the taste; peanuts and chocolate that sticks around long after the drink is finished. This is a damn good beer; even my wife (who hates beer) was impressed with the flavor of this. Merry Christmas everyone!

Black pour, brown tinged fringe. Finger of fine tan head, quickly disperses to naught but a thin ring. Aroma is all natural peanut butter (earthy / bitter, not sweet), some chocolate but really all about the nuttiness. Taste is the same, dominated by the peanut butter with some chocolate. Mild dry bitter finish. medium to heavier body with a fair amount of fine carbonation.

CBAC Day 24! First porter I’ve enjoyed. You can actually smell the peanut butter and chocolates right when you open the bottle. Flavour is exactly as described, tons of smooth salty peanuts and chocolates. Also big notes of roasted malts and coffees. Yum!

CBAC day 24! Made it to the day... This beer is exactly as billed... Loads of chocolate, espresso and peanut butter. Has the qualities of a robust porter like the roasted malts and a dry finish and then the addition of peanut butter makes it seem like I’m drinking a dessert... Or maybe breakfast!
