COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter is a complex, robust porter. It is jet black in color with a tan, rocky head, full body and creamy, luxurious mouthfeel. Its lightly sweet, malty flavor is accented by strong notes of chocolate, coffee and peanut butter, and balanced by a subtle hop character and moderate 6.5% abv. Sweet Baby Jesus finishes smooth, dry and roasty with notes of chocolate, espresso and peanut butter so tasty, you’ll have no choice but to exclaim the name!

Pours dark brown with some light brown head. The aroma is...surprise peanut butter and chocolate although not nearly as strong as I expected from reading many reviews. The taste is similar but if you are expecting it to taste like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup you will be disappointed, There is hint of peanut initially but that gives way to some bitterness. The body is on the thin side. I think this beer is way overrated.

Pitch black with a foamy tan head. Powerful aroma of dark chocolate, peanut butter, espresso. Taste is a rich, nutty, unsweetened peanut butter with underpinning dark chocolate notes. Finishes bitter with a lingering nutty aftertaste. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Overall pretty decent.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing!
Pours very dark brown colour with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of peanuts, caramel, vanillla, dark mild roasted malt. Taste of dark roasted malt, tons of peanuts, vanilla, chocolate, delicious!

Many thanks to my "Santa 2015" jsquire for this bottle! Peanuts and chocolate in the nose. The beer starts very dry - like a Snickers without sugar. The beer is very dry, lots of dark roasted malts, the chocolate and the peanut butter are not too overwhelming. I like the great smooth combination. Great stuff!

Poured from a bottle. Very dark brown, almost black, with a bit of caramel color around the edges and a big frothy beige head. Aromas of peanut butter and malty chocolate. Smells almost exactly like the chocolate peanut butter flavor of Optimum Nutrition’s casein protein powder. Feel is moderately full-bodied with a bit more carbonation than I would like. Taste starts a little more slowly and subtly than the smell, but brings the same flavors: peanut butter, chocolate, and malt, along with some milkiness. The finish is pretty dry with a hint of bitterness. Overall, the smell is maybe too strong, but not a bad beer. Not something I would drink all the time though.

Twelve ounce bottle from mix six pack bought at Hatting’s Supermarket, tasted on January 17, 2016. Opaque brown hue, aroma of peanut butter (and how) and chocolate that’s almost like that of a Reese’s Cup in addition to roasted malt, taste dials way back on the peanut butter and isn’t as strong as the aroma would indicate, some astringency. Not bad but this brewery’s Dirty Little Freak is better.

Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate with a peanut in the shell. Taste of creamy semi sweet chocolate with peanut butter with a dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Dark pour from bottle. Aroma is deep, deep milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter. Taste is exactly the same. Complex and interesting.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black in color with a brief tan head that settles to a thin film. Aroma is primarily chocolate with a definite peanut butter background. Full body, taste is a good combination of chocolate and the peanut butter comes through at the swallow. Finish has a touch of dryness with the chocolate/peanut butter sticking around for a bit. Not bad.

Not as much peanut butter as I would like. Pours a pure black with an opaque body, thick and dense tan head. The nose is rich and dessert esque. Espresso, cocoa, peanuts and a rich roasted malt. Sweet finish with a nice kick of malty bitterness. Well done but too sweet.

12 oz bottle. The porter poured an opaque black with a tan head. The aroma of peanut butter and chocolate greets you. The taste has more peanut butter and could use more roasted malt. The porter has light body and soft carbonation. This porter is just too sweet for my taste.
