Not normally something I’d go for, but for a buck 99, why not? Bottle. Murky dark brown color, thick beige head. Aroma of peanut butter cups dipped is espresso. Taste is more harsh, bitter and burned peanuts and unsweetened cocoa. It is what it is.

Brown in color with a small khaki head. Well, certainly smells like peanut butter. Nice rich chocolate, some roasted malt, caramel, coffee, and toffee aromas, too. The flavor has a really great combination of chocolate and peanut butter. Nicely sweet with some caramel and toffee notes. Nice roast and coffee character, too.

Both bottle and draft... Dark brown ale with crimson highlights and a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is supposed to deliver chocolate and peanut butter, but I’m pulling more of a Crème Brulee feature from the glass. However, the power of suggestion eventually kicks in and I discover notes of roasted peanuts, brownie and toasted almonds. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. The flavor is a blend of roasted malts, vanilla and nuttiness. The flavor tilts a touch toward the burnt and bitter side, but is well-balanced overall. Finishes lightly astringent and dry. Bottled version courtesy of darkguardian!

Bottle @ home, big thanks to Steve_0 for sharing this! Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a thin brown head. Jesus Christ, this is just like a chocolate peanut butter bar in the aroma. A bit salty, sweet peanut butter, milk chocolate, lightly spicy nutty aroma. Carbonation is a bit dull but the flavor doesn’t disappoint. Tastes like roasty nutty peanut butter, rich milk chocolate, and pure dessert sweetness. Not overly complex but really delivers on peanut butter and chocolate. Thanks again, Stephen!

Bottles from Capone’s and Smith’s. Pours mahogany with minimal tan head. Nose is huge chocolate and peanut butter; like a liquid Reese cup. Tastes rich, with a big chocolate and peanut butter flavor, and not too sweet. Man, would this go great with Snickers pie. This is delicious!
