COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter is a complex, robust porter. It is jet black in color with a tan, rocky head, full body and creamy, luxurious mouthfeel. Its lightly sweet, malty flavor is accented by strong notes of chocolate, coffee and peanut butter, and balanced by a subtle hop character and moderate 6.5% abv. Sweet Baby Jesus finishes smooth, dry and roasty with notes of chocolate, espresso and peanut butter so tasty, you’ll have no choice but to exclaim the name!

Aroma carries a definite cocoa and peanut butter edge. Also a little malt and a scotch feel. Poured with almost no head except a white ring, and a dark dark brown. Taste highlights a malty cocoa, but with a lighter smoothness. Palate is medium, and a little slick but not too much. Finish was a little bitter but in a good way.

From bottle, pours dark with frothy head. Smells of peanut butter. Peanut butter flavor first followed by chocolate and coffee finish. More peanut butter smell than taste. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tried on tap at a coffee shop in Greensboro. Found it to be delicious, not as chocolate as another chocolate peanut butter I have tried by Terrapin.

Let me share a story. I bought a six pack last summer for my brother and i to try. We each opened a bottle after dinner and began drinking. Less than half way through the bottle we both decided we just couldn’t swallow another drop and poured the rest of our bottles out. Neither of us found this even remotely enjoyable. A few days later my brother in law came over whom happens to be a huge porter fan so i gave the last 4 bottles to him. A few days after receiving them, he returned 3 to me starting he could drink it and had to pour out the one he opened. Sad but true.

Dark brown pour with ruby highlights. Small tan head. Little bit of lacing. Huge chocolate and peanut butter aroma. Taste is chocolate with a dry hint of peanut.

Very dark brown color, tan head - aroma: chocolate, peanuts, salt, roasted malt, coffee - taste is sweet and slightly bitter - medium body, rather creamy texture, average carbonation - long, bitter finish with peanut aroma.

Yes, it does come off like a peanut butter cup, in both aroma and taste. Dark but clear, small creamy head with nice sticky lacing. Sweet and nutty aroma, medium weight, bitterness comes on the back end of the taste and lingers.

Clear dark brown with light brown head. Aroma of salted peanuts. Flavor is hint salty, peanuts and chocolate as promised. Some bread too, it's like Nutella and peanut butter on whole wheat. This seams suited for the 22 oz format, not sure what to do with six of these. Wish I had a jelly doughnut to go with it.

Draft at Bel Air location during dinner. Pours a dark black with a tan head. The aroma was chocolate and roasted coffee, while the taste was coffee, chocolate and a hint a peanut butter. The porter was served very cold and mellowed as it warmed. Overall a good porter but I wish I had time to let it warm a bit more to see if it had a bit more to it.

Peanut butter nose and taste that is very good. No fake taste like liquid bliss. Really good!
