COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter is a complex, robust porter. It is jet black in color with a tan, rocky head, full body and creamy, luxurious mouthfeel. Its lightly sweet, malty flavor is accented by strong notes of chocolate, coffee and peanut butter, and balanced by a subtle hop character and moderate 6.5% abv. Sweet Baby Jesus finishes smooth, dry and roasty with notes of chocolate, espresso and peanut butter so tasty, you’ll have no choice but to exclaim the name!

On tap at the brewpub. Deep brown brew with some tan head. They did a great job infusing peanut butter aroma and flavor into a dry, chocolaty porter. Nose of chocolate and fresh peanut butter with some roasted malt. Body is a bit thin.

Pours dark brown with a thin of off white head. Really strong peanut butter, roasted nuts, and chocolate on the nose. Flavor is more bitter than it should be. Dry, bitter finish. Not a fan.

Bottle from Drinks of the World Winterthur. Poured deep brown with a mocca head. Explosion of aromas with peanut and chocolate in the lead, but also pecan nuts and caramel. Great peanut and chocolate flavours, dry roasted coffee towards the finish. Quite unique, not refined, but definitely likeable.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with large dark brown highlights and small beige head. Aroma is rich peanutbutter, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is chocolate, espresso, peanut butter, and roasty.

Easily my favorite PB beer to date. I don’t really get the chocolate but the malt flavor goes perfect with the PB. I would like it if the beer was abut heavier and a touch more chocolate flavor. Not chocolathe roast

12 oz bottle shared by Spencer. The pour is a lighter medium brown with an off white head and a couple spots of lace. The aroma is kind of cereal like. It's a powdery chocolate and peanut butter. Everything is light and not real dominating. The flavor is also real powdery and thin. The peanut butter comes through and little more prominent, but it's light and not the best. There is a sweet aftertaste. The mouth feel is thin and slick. No real carbonation and it just falls off quickly. Could be great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle, pours dark with frothy head. Smells of peanut butter. Peanut butter flavor first followed by chocolate and coffee finish. More peanut butter smell than taste. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tried on tap at a coffee shop in Greensboro. Found it to be delicious, not as chocolate as another chocolate peanut butter I have tried by Terrapin.

Let me share a story. I bought a six pack last summer for my brother and i to try. We each opened a bottle after dinner and began drinking. Less than half way through the bottle we both decided we just couldn’t swallow another drop and poured the rest of our bottles out. Neither of us found this even remotely enjoyable. A few days later my brother in law came over whom happens to be a huge porter fan so i gave the last 4 bottles to him. A few days after receiving them, he returned 3 to me starting he could drink it and had to pour out the one he opened. Sad but true.

Dark brown pour with ruby highlights. Small tan head. Little bit of lacing. Huge chocolate and peanut butter aroma. Taste is chocolate with a dry hint of peanut.
