2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Firkin Friday at Bowie location on 08/02/13. Arrived at the table a slightly hazy amber color with no real head at all. The aroma featured some caramel, a little biscuity breadiness, citrus, zesty rinds, light apricot/peach, and some hints of pine. Went down fairly thin and watery with a low level of carbonation. Caramel and a slight biscuity presence started things off taste-wise. Citrus fruits and zesty rinds finished things off. There was a very subtle touch of tangy apricots and peaches the whole way through. Ultimately, the flavors were rather muted and the whole thing was quite forgettable.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the 2005 Maryland Brewers Spring Fest... Hazy, apricot colored ale. The aroma is full of bigtime apricot. Fizzy and watery with a nice apricot flavor. Medium-bodied at most. I would have this again in the heat of Summer. Very good crossover ale geared toward the women in the crowd. Enjoyed by most everyone at the festival, I would imagine, on such a warm, humid day.
