Tap at DuClaw Arundel Mills. Pours a low haze orange with a dense buttermilk head. Great retention. Dusty, cheesy nose with orange candies. Taste is dusty, nutty, orange syrup, loads of cheesecloth. Palate is silkier, not too papery. Doesn't seem fresh. Lacing is massive.

12oz bottle, thanks to my parents for bringing this back. Good crisp malty flavor, light caramel. Light toasty, good light earthy hops, little bitter taste. Some soft, lighter brighter carbonation, dry finish. Mostly hazy amber color, lots of sediment floating within. Good light khaki thick foamy head, leaving good thick rows of lace.

I popped the cap on this one and it foamed all over the place. Shenanigans! Pour is a dull, but clear gold with two fingers of cream colored foam on top; decent head retention and lacing. Nose is light citrus fruits and hops. Taste is on track with the nose, but a somewhat flat and malty taste kicks in after the fruity hops start to subside. The blandness then rolls right into the finish. Not terrible by any means, but I’m not sold on this brew either.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: very fresh, frontal citruss with hint of caramel, clean with gentle peppery finish. 7+
Appearance:fine haze on sunny amber wth large foamy tanned top.. Some lace noted. 3+
Taste etc.: medium full bodied with lighter vibe to it thanks to refreshing hop profile. Not too hefty, quiet drinkable. Perfect as session drink.

Amber in color with one finger white head. Big citrus hop aroma, but fails to deliver that in the taste. Taste has almost a soap quality to it, not sure what about it that I donít completely like. This is an okay beer.

I drank a growler of this last night while eating wings and watching football. Bliss.
The beer appears a orange/amber hue. It is, for the most part, transparent, though not 100% clear. Each pour yields a substantial head that leaves a film of caked-on lacing stuck to the glass. The scent is relatively weak, emitting a balance of hop and malt aromas. The beer tastes decent. Itís nothing amazing, but nothing offensive either. I mean, I did drink the whole growler by myself - it is certainly drinkable and enjoyable, though not remarkable, beer. The feel is remarkably smooth, making this beer quite quaffable. I really enjoy pairing a simple pale ale with wings or other variants of bar food. I have had this beer several times. Itís local, fresh and consistent. Enjoy a beer at DuClaw if youíre in the area.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had this beer in a large tall glass in an airport bar. The beer had a mostly clear amber-rust color with a large, light tan, foamy head that had good retention and lacing, and great cling. The aroma featured a light citrus hops with some pine, plenty of earthy and grainy hops, and a touch of caramel malt. Its taste was slightly bitter and grainy with some lightly sweet caramel malt flavors as well. The body was creamy and had average carbonation and life, and was a touch dry, with a full mouthfeel.

Clear amber copper with a foamy white head. Fruity, light citrus, a rustic earthy quality. Toasted malt, light fruity citrus flavor. Medium bodied. OK.

This poured a light oranage color with a white head. Aroma was if light citrus, and herbal nots, with some salt and light grain too. Flavor was fairly bitter but not much hop flavor, somewhat bland and uninviting with a malt finish. Meh
