Bottle. Nose of strong caramel and lighter resin, citrus and lightly tropical fruits, dough. Pours a nice in-between amber, supports a rocky beige head. Taste medium-strong bitterness with only slight sweetness, woody with caramel and lighter citrus. Hops here are earthier, slightly spicier. Lightly oily medium body more like thick alcohol in the middle with watery edges, there’s just no connecting malt. Cleansing and soap-stripping, mildly refreshing, clean.

True to it’s description, very nice blend of fresh hops. Very clear, caramel undertones, no off flavors, consistent. Looking forward to finding it on tap when I’m in the Balt area.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle into pint glass, cloudy amber’ish-golden color with white head. Aroma of citrus/fruity hops and caramel malt. Taste wasn’t as hoppy as aroma led on, well balanced adding notes of breadiness, piney/floral hops and some graininess. Medium body, low carbonation, crisp with bitter finish. Taste APA.

Taste is really nice - very lightly sweet, biscuity, caramel malt with a light but vibrant citrus hop note, a bit piney. Really nice. Up there with Alchemy as my favorites from the visit.
