COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A collaboration beer brewed with Due South Brewing, from Florida. This Rye IPA is truly locally inspired. Fresh Valencia oranges are used in three stages of making this beer along with honey from the hills above Sant Joan de Mediona. The citrus from the fruit intermingles with hop flavours and the spiciness of the rye malts for a full flavored IPA.

Draught at the O'Hara's, Tampere, Finland. Slightly cloudy dark golden color with a small tan head. Honey, sweet hops, mild bitterness and malt in the aroma. The flavor is bitterness, resiny hops and some sweetness. I'm a bit disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours hazy pale brown with a big frothy and fluffy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with wholegrain crackers, crisp bread, grapefruit juice, pineapple, mango, papaya, freshly cut grass, pine needles, black pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter and fruity. Mouthfeel is viscous syrupy, round, astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with sweet dark rye bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, dark honey, Campari, black pepper corns, orange zest and lemon zest. This is a solid idea and so very close to a solid tasty beer but the honey, which I usually like in beer, provides a viscous syrupy mouthfeel whilst making the beer unnecessarily sweet. Next time make it drier and reduce the honey a lot.
