Can from a trade. Aroma reminded me a lot of Heady, with pine/biscuit. Pours clear amber with a huge white head. Flavor is piney hops and malt, with a pungent bitter finish. Enjoyable for sure.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours hazy orange with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and resinous hops, some pale and caramel malts, hints of spices, and light dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

Murky orange and brown with a decent foam. Aroma was non distinct with some melon, malt, and flowers. Taste was not bitter but plenty of hop flavors. Finish was tipped to the malt side. Pleasant.

Can. Pours a murky orange to brown with moderate white head. Aroma is a mellony, lemon malt mess. Taste is again more malt than anything hoppy at all. Pepper comes in at the end but this is like an East Coast DIPA which Iím not digging.

Can, much thanks to Jason. Pours out a slightly opaque copper color with a moderate fluffy off white head. Aroma is of fruity hops, grapefruit, light melon, pine, guava and some mild malty grain notes. Taste is complex, with a nice hop profile of guava, tropical fruits, mango, bitter grapefruit. Some mild grainy bread notes creep in there, but this is all about the hops and it finishes with a nice bitter kick. Really good beer I wish I could get every day.

Can from hopscotch - thanks! Hazy deep orange pour with a huge head. Big hop aroma of floral and citrus. Nice assertive bite. Delicious.

Love the pillowy head! Nice orange copper color, medium body. Lots of hops and citrus in the nose. Bitter, but not overwhelming.

32 ounce growler pours a medium golden color. Bright white head lasts along with some nice lacing. Some floral and citrus hop aroma's. Nice smooth hop bitterness with a bit of alcohol burn at the end. A bit of a harsh aftertaste also. I think the category 4 is better.

Extra from Sean. Thanks man. Dark gold pour. Very hoppy aroma. Slightly floral but mostly bitter and hoppy. Seems stronger than 8.5%

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2014 Donít really know what to say about this DIPA. Itís a lot to say the least., a lot of hops, especially grapefruit flavors, with a big amount of malts, overpowered by the bitterness, and then the booze, finished with some more hops and strangely some acidity. Itís a chewy beer. The beer has a lot of things going on, you could say too many, but, any hophead would love to have this in their fridge. A decent representation of the style.
