Paying some homage to one of the major roads in Boynton Beach we bring Hopoluxo IPA to the fine people of South Florida. This IPA has notes of orange peel in the nose followed by nice hop flavors and notes of black pepper in the taste.

Draft at the Sybarite Pig. Snifter. Pours a great deep golden orange with a very nice white one finger head. Good lacing. Great aroma with orange, passion fruit, hint of spices and cereal. The taste was great with the citrus, light pine, cereal, grains. Not bitter, but very refreshing IPA from Due South. Light body, easy to drink.

Poured a light orange color with aromas of light pine citrus and some light malt. Flavors are the same nice pine and citrus throughout and some light bitterness at the back end.

Tap. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, heavy pine and citrus for the hops, moderate soap for the yeast, with notes of pepper and faint light colored dried fruits. Head is average size, frothy turning rocky, off-white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is slightly hazy, medium dark amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. Just about as perfect as an IPA can be, and easily one of my favorites from Due South.
