On draft at Due South. Been meaning to try this one for a while now. Very solid pumpkin flavor, along with spicy nutmeg aroma. Very tasty! Due South nailed down a good pumpkin beer here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Due South. Poured a clear amber-orange color. Aroma was heavy on the cinnamon, light on nutmeg. Some sweet lightly toasted malt notes. Flavor was light pumpkin pie spices - it’s not as heavy as most pumpkin beers, spice was nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lovely browned amber, with nice carbonation feeding a suitable head. Sugar pumpkin nose with raftloads of cinnamon. The body is dominated by cinnamon which stretches over notes of sugar pumpkin. Squash notes begin to arise on the bouquet and flavor after some aeration. Strongly spiced.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hey, guess what, another pumpkin beer with little to no actual pumpkin flavor, just spices that you would find in a pumpkin pie. I should really just never try this style unless it’s barrel aged or done with a special yeast or something.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. can supplied by WillRunForBeer - many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a sediment-heavy dark orange with which a foamy white-ringed head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of candied yams, cinnamon, star anise, Belgian yeast, and unripe mangoes. Tastes the same with coriander, mint, and cucumber water. Interesting, to say the least. Spicy.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz can Slightly hazy amber color with thin ring of whit head. Aroma is pretty nice mild spice of cinnamon, nutmeg and a gourd or sweet potato tone. Flavor is mostly the same and really mild. Body is light with spices coming through in the finish. The flavor leans more on yams rather then pumpkin. Decent and easy to drink for the style, mildly spiced which is a plus.

Can. Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is mild nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice over white bread and squash. Spice is heavier in the flavor. Cinnamon stands out the most. Bread and yams make up the backbone.

Like most DS offerings, this is pretty much to - style and we’ll executed but not spectacular. Light on the pumpkin spice notes which I appreciate and with a bit of an actual root vegetable character but not terrific.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can in a tulip. Pours deep amber/brown with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor too strong of the spices. Average texture. Not the best beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a cloudy orange color with aromas of pumpkin pulp, light spice, and some malt. Flavors are bread, pumpkin skin, light spice and some malt. A solid pumpkin beer overall.
