Brown pour with no head. Holy malty booze, Batman! Not sure why I’m getting so much heat considering it’s below 10%. Maybe a weird fermentation temperature?

Had at Trench Day 2015 at Due South. Pours a nice deep brown, nearly black in a small taster glass. Some tan head. Nice aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruits, and roasted malts. The taste is smooth and balanced roasted malts, chocolate, slight vanilla, and dark fruits. Mouth was a little watery for the style. But overall the flavors were very good.

Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival 2014This beer rocks!… Pours murky and black with a small, creamy, khaki head. Great retention. The nose is composed of roasted tree nuts, vanilla and charcoal. Full-bodied and chewy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is bold and decadent: blackstrap molasses, salted caramel and brownie brittle. Hearty, nourishing, acrid finish. World class offering from Mike at Due South!

This shit aint right. Nice looking black color with brown head. Aroma is wet lightly lactic wood, vanilla coming out the woodwork, cocoa, stout stuff. Taste is really boozy, oaky, vanilla, more booze, and very mild lactic tartness.

Bottle thanks to Homer! Pours deep ruby black, medium tan creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is tart cherry, roasty, woody, cocoa. Flavor is INFECTED, light sweet, medium bitter, tart and acetic, some woodiness. Medium body, creamy. OK, its infected, but in a way that is still kind of interesting overall. Not bad.

Thanks to the Tampa Crew for sharing this one. Pours a stout brown with a small tan head. Nose is cocoa, chocolate, cough syrup, chocolate syrup, and some bitterness. Flavor is similar with chocolate, chocolate syrup, cocoa, and roast. Light to medium in body and lingering roasty and sweet chocolate into the finish.

Draft - pour dark black and somewhat thin. Smells of bitter chocolate in the nose. The taste is really bitter, dark chocolate, and chalky. I could barely get through 4oz.

Gold Medal winner in Imp Stout category at Best Beer in Florida comp. Nice and clean with a chocolate nose and finish. No alcohol is interesting considering 9.8% ABV. My favorite Imp Stout by far.
