UPDATED: DEC 5, 2014 One of the more distinctive offerings I tried. Has a real English IPA character because of a grassy and more herbal hop bill as opposed to the typical fruity and resin dominant American IPA hops. Fairly malty but not sweet. Impressive.

On tap at the brewery. Dark amber pour with an off white head. Nothing distinct on the nose. Mild bland hop notes with a heavy dose of malts. Average body and mouthfeel.

Growler from the brewery. Pours dark amber color with off white head. Aromas of biscuits, lightly toasted malts, and some floral hops. Bready malt flavor with light bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.

Tap. Moderate malt aromas of light bread, roasted and caramel. light pine for the hops, dough and leather for the yeast with date, and pepper in the background. Head is small, slightly off-white with fair lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy, medium dark amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a soft carbonation. A nice malty representation of an English IPA

On draft at Coffee District. Nice hoppy character to this one. Nice balance between the hops and malts. Easy drinking with a slight biscuit flavor to it as well.
