Crowler thanks to Homer! Pours clear black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is molasses, anise, hints of burned rubber. Flavor is light sweet, quite burned, charred malts, coffee, ash, molasses, light plus bitter, but of rubber here too. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Thanks to Fritz123 for this one. Poured out of a 32oz crowler. Poured a dark muddy brown/black with a quickly dissapating head. Nice lacing on the glass. Smooth mouthfeel without the big overly boozy typical Imperial stout. Flavor is big roasty malts with with a light chocolate bitterness that finishes with a mellow sweetness that makes you want more. Nicely done.

Draft at the brewery in Boynton Beach. Snifter. Pours a mostly black with a thick two finger tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, and bread. Taste is similar with good roasted malts, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, vanilla, and bread. Full body, medium carbonation. Dry, roasted finish.

Crowler thanks to Phil. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is a nutty bready malt and raisin. Medium mouthfeel with nice roast, chocolate, raisin, nutty finish.

Poured a dark brown color with aromas of roasted malt, light chocolate, some vanilla, and a touch of charcoal. Flavors matched the aromas, a solid stout overall, that hid the abv very well.

On tap at Due South. Dark brown/black pour with a tan head. Roasted malt aromas. Dark roasted malts, mild coco, with just a hint of bitterness. Solid and straight forward. Not a huge body, but still an above average mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2013 Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewer’s Festival 2013... Pours hazy and dark brown with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head that never fully dissipates. The aroma is faint - at best - but I struggle and finally pull traces of roasted grains, chocolate chips and charcoal from my glass. Full-bodied and lightly silky with laid-back carbonation. The flavor is a marriage of deeply roasted, bittersweet malts and heavy, metallic hop bitterness. Lengthy, burnt, bitter finish.

On draft at Due South. Pours a nice medium/ dark stout brown with a tan head. Nose is some roast with big chocolate, sweetened coffee, some light vanilla, and some sweetness. Flavor is some roast, chocolate syrup notes, some dark chocolate, some coffee, and sweetness. Medium in body and an enjoyable sipper.

Tap. Moderate to heavy malt aromas of toasted and milk chocolate, light herbs and resin for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with hints of tar and vanilla. Head is small to average size, frothy/creamy, light tan with excellent lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and acidic and moderately to heavily bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a soft carbonation, and finishes sticky. Full and rich, but mild lasting for an Imperial Stout and the 9.1% alcohol is not even noticeable. More like a Foreign or Sweet Stout to me.
