Tap. Moderate malt, hop and yeast aromas of roasted, nutty, dark bread, herbs, pine resin and dough, with hints of wood and sulfer. Head is average size, starting frothy, then creamy, then rocky, light tan with good lacing and is fully lasting. Color is clear dark brown. Flavor starts moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A little simple in flavor, but there is a nice spicy hop profile in this Brown Ale.

Draft… Treasure Coast Beer Fest 2011… Pours murky and very dark brown with a mid-sized, creamy, mushroom-colored head. Fantastic retention as always with this upstart brewery. The gorgeous bouquet provides toasted tree nuts, vanilla and subtle milk chocolate. Light to medium-bodied with gentle carbonation. Crisp, chocolaty and nutty in both the flavor and the finish. Moderate bitterness lingers long after each sip.

Had at the Treasure Coast Beer Fest. Brown color. Really good roasted malt nose. The taste mixes the roasted malts, caramel and a good hop presence. Really mixes a lot of flavor with easy to drink brown.
