3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
As adjunct brown ales go this one is pretty middle of the road, the nuts add a light amount of character and taste decent but don’t add tons while also not giving the beer a bad sweet artificial taste. Pretty light drinker, a beer you can introduce your friends to easily enough.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A clear, dark amber colored beer topped by a lasting, dense, finger-thick beige head that leaves curtains. The aroma is lightly sourish, with a nice malty touch and a fine fruityness. Some dried fruits, a touch of peaches and some orange peel. It’s dry and tart on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting fruity finish, with both fresh and dried fruits, as well as peaches and orange peel. Quite decent this one, but I doubt the sourness is intended. 140829
