Appearance: Copper and orange under a pithy head which fades into rocky bubbly patches with a few splashes of lace. Swirls bubbly and patchy.
Nose: Spicy sweet. Candied ginger and candied lemon wedges. Cumin, paprika, and star anise. Fuzzy tropical fruits. Italian bread crisps. Oregano and thyme. Candied tangerines.
Palate: Sweet, candied, and spicy. Candied ginger up front and along the sides. Herbs in the middle – oregano and basil. A quick finish. Essence of the garden with flowers and herbs blooming. Black tea? Cracked peppercorn crackers. Dried orange peel underneath. Candied orange and candied pineapple in the middle. Unique.
Final Thoughts: A uniquely Florida take on the Saison style. I would have enjoyed it more if there had been less sweetness and a little more on the dry spicy herbal side. It seems a bit thick for a Saison, but that’s just me. If you have a chance, have a glass or growler and judge for yourself.

Draft at the brew pub in Boynton Beach, FL. American pint glass. Pours a fairly clear yellow-light orange with a moderate head and some light lacing. Aroma was nice with bread, cloves, fruit, lavender. Taste was a little "one-note" with the aromas coming through slightly but it seemed like it tasted much like the blonde I had just finished.

glennmastrange (2255) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Tap. Moderate aromas all around, with straw for the malt, orange juice for the hops, barnyard for the yeast, with hints of coriander, sulfur and unripe tropical fruit like starfruit. Head is average size, frothy turning creamy, slightly off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy medium amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately, then finishes faintly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a soft carbonation and a dry finish. The slight artificial-ness of the orange throws the aroma of this Saison a bit, but it’s pretty tasty throughout.

Growler courtesy of burg326. Cheers, Adam! Pours a hazy honey-gold with an anxious head that recedes to thin off-white head with time. Nose is light malt and some mild citrus with spices, ginger, pepper, noticeable fruity yeast, and some lemon. Flavor is malt, light fruit, and pepper in the front and the mid is dominated by yeast and pepper. Finish is the yeast trying to dry it out with some ginger trying to keep the sweetness around. Interesting take on the style. Medium in body and lingering dry yeast in the finish.

Pours gold with with a paperthin white head. Aroma of anise, it overpowers. Taste follows, anise is overpowering this beer. I don't like this ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a very good saison from a newish brewery. Really refreshing tasty and complex yeast esthers lead to fruity/spicy notes that are typical of the style yet slightly unique in this brew.
