Bottle courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott) poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, toasted malt, light orange and a hint of barnyard. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of carmel, toffee, tobacco and citrus with a crisp dry tart lingering funky finish.

Tap @ the brewery. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar, some alchohol. Taste is malt, caramel, berries, sugar, booze Medium body, lively carbonated ( alot more carbonation than the bottled ones i had before, maybe just fresher ). 161010

Brown and hazy. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Sweet aroma, yeasty and hoppy too. Flavor is heavy sweet, fruity. Bitter finish. Syrupy texture.

Amber pour, light tanned head. Aroma is oxidation, cardboard, port like, not nicely oxidized. Taste is oxidized, cardboard, caramel, yeasty sweet.

Bottle.Thanks yngwie.Pours copper coloured with a small head.Aroma of dried beeries ,oksidized malt and wet dog. Flavour is caramel,sweet malt,alcohol and berries.Some bitterness to balance it.Full body,low carbonation.Ok barley wine.

Bottle at home.
Light hazy dark amber with a beige head. Aroma moderate to heavy malty (caramel, roasted, dark fruits), moderate hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Full body with some warmth from the alcohol.
