Hazy dark amber with medium beige head. Discrete hoppy aroma. Sweet fruity flavor with caramel, roasted malt and hoppy notes. Ends bitter.

Bottled. Thanks to gnoff. Red-brown colour with good cottony head. No hop aroma, which may seem strange here. Light caramelly in flavour with low levels of flavouring hops. Dusty, papery bitterness. This is a poor interpretation of US IPA.

Bottle (50 cl), thanks gnoff. Deep clear copper, low beige head. Nutty and caramelly, spicy and herbal hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry and bitter.

Clear dark red to copper color, white head. Sweet, grainy scent. Malty, buttery and roasted taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Is this really an IPA?

Bottle @ Plan b. Semi clear and brown coloured with a medium sized offwhite head. Very sweet and malty with notes of hops, pines and yeast. A somewhat dry finish.

Bottle at Plan B. Clear red/brown - offwhite head. Nice malty sweetness, nice hoppy, grass, bitterness, light soapy, light yeasty, roasted, toasted. Nice.

OleR (4248) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2008 500 ml bottle. Big coarse tanned head, mostly lasting. Clear, brownish amber colored body. Dry maltiness and fruity hops in the aroma. Taste is both fruity and malty but lacks more of the bittering hops to make it a decent IPA. Slim body considering the high alcohol strenght. Light sourish moutfeel. Drinkable, but not true to the type.

Bottle, thanks GrOve! Yeast and malt aroma. Oily, grassy hops, a bit heavy. Over the top, probably.
