RB genuine rating # 2500 in 2007: 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange with a little white head. Deep berry fruity aroma, smells sweet. Flavour starts sweet. Fruity flavour with a solid malt tone leading into the finish. Finish holds a nice malty flavour with a very soft liqourice like note. Nice brew.

Bottle: Dark amber coloured, mid-sized lacing head, robust fruity nose (dried black berries) with a tinge of molasses and a good dash of aromatic hops; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied; slightly sourish bitter-malty and fruity finish. A good experience..........

Bottled (thanks Papsoe). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, a lot of fruits and quite much flowery notes. Flavour is fruits, sweet brown sugar, cookies and some smild roasted notes. Biting hoppyness. Still drinkable and refreshing.

Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Red-nutty dark color, medium-sized beige head. Fruity, candy sugary nose. Medium-bodied, fizzy carbonation. Alcohol, cream liquer, hoppy finish. Fruity flavors (apricot, plums). RB says this is IPA, but more like Belgium Strong Ale.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 10, 2007
Dark coppery colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Sweet, somehow papery aroma, mild toffee also here. Not very IPA-like. Surprisingly thin bodied for 8%. Flavor is watery, still these sweet fruits and yeast here, even some sour toffee comes up. Aftertaste has some glue in it. Not very good IPA.

Grovlam (4156) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2007
Bottle. [Thanks to Papsoe] Large beige and thick almost creamy like head that mostly lasted. Clear flat looking body with a dark amber color. Good display of lacework. Aroma was light hoppy with notes of grass, citrus, pine and grapefruit. Also evident was notes of fruit, caramel and grains. Over the palate some roasted malty notes appeared. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet malyt notes with bitter hoppy and roasted malty flavor. Light roasted and bitter finish.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is dark amber. A little hazy too. Aroma and taste are rich with hops and malt.

omhper (19696) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2007
Bottled. Hazy amber, lively head. Tart lingonberry aroma. Full bodied, but dominated by sour lemony fruitiness. Medium bitterness. The name should translate to "The Bad", which is a pretty apt description of the beer.

Papsoe (25084) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, dark orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma of fat hop oils and burned caramel. Medium body with fairly sweet notes of burned caramel. A bit low in carbonation and appears a little tired. Surprisingly subdued bitterness - especially considering it’s supposed to be an American style IPA. 050807
