COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Den sydtyske bock i dobbelt udgave.

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy dark brown with a very fast small offwhite head, lots of yeast fragments floating around. Aroma of malt, tart fruit ( apples), brown sugar, dusty cellar. Taste is sour and tart fruit, wood, sweet caramel malt. Thin body, low carbonation, infected. Drainpour. While entering my backlog of Duelund beers, i was reminded ( by the very low overall / style score ) that i had a botlle of this beer. Bought at the brewery 161010, tasted 060711

Deep ruby color, hazy with yeast, vanishing head. Sour, berryish, cellary aroma. Medium-bodied. Sour, berryish, caramel, yeasty, cellary. Infected and probably born bad ... so why to release this kind of batches?

Bottle from Voldby. Medium head with medium duration. Color is murky brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, caramel and lots of infectious lactose acid. Worst doppelbock I have tasted. Clearly infected. Why this beer is not recalled is beyond me.

Bottle 330ml.

Unclear medium amber color with a small average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, shoe polish, phenoel. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a average duration, sour, plastic, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Why do a brew make a beer like this ! >;O) oh he is a Brewed By the Brewer at the Brewery .. but still makebad beers .. IMO off .. [20110218]

This beer is dark red-brown and has no head. Yeast and sediment come out of the bottle in HUGE lumps, I have NEVER seen anything like it – yuck... The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, plastic and a light sourness. The moderately sweet flavour also is rather sour with notes of fruit, plastic and the finish is dry and sour – NOT nice!
