330ml bottle (Johnny’s, Rome)
Pale, reasonable head. Grainy, almost plasticky like a heller bock, aroma. Pleasant carbonation. Pretty bland taste, slips down fairly easily. Finish has a hint of pencil sharpenings.

from Drinks of the World - clear and pale golden colour with a little white foam left; shy oily grassy aroma; medium-bodied and quite sweet, moderate bitterness and with some herbal tartness; grainy finish

Bottle. terrible boiled vegetable smell. Pale golden, low head, fine carbonation. Cloying sugary sweet malt with a industial boiled cabbage to balance. Thankfully with a quick finish. medium chewy body, light sparkly. So if Duff is the Simpsons version of Bud I guess they hit the intended flavor spot on....

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Doggythedog, shared with him and heavy (thanks!).
My second Duff beer. First one came from Haacht (found at Pianeta Birra Rimini 2008) and this one Doggythedog’s friend found in Spain (brewed in Germany). Like Haacht’s Duff beer this is below average and not so pleasant. Grainy, weak hoppy and some honeyish notes with short bitter finish.

1/11 A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured a pale yellow body with medium sized head. Hay aroma, typical pale lager malt. Flavor is similar, hay, some hints of herbal hops, grainy. Thinner in body, of course. Shorter finish, which was somewhat bittersweet and pretty boring like the whole beer. Drinkable though.
