COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En kraftig "Imperial Porter" med kaffetoner och eftersmak av saltlakrits. Inte lika dumdristig som storebror ”Idjit!” men har inga problem med att stå på egna ben!
English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

Appearance - Deep brown, chalky head, silky lacing
Aroma - Roasted malts, earthy, dry, cocoa
Taste - Creamy, grass/earthy, coffee, dry

For such a rich and dry porter, it is very drinkable. The light carbonation makes it not TOO dry, but rather compliments the rich malts and subtle, roasted aftertaste. Cheers!

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Smells and tastes smoked roasted malt, abit salty with a similar finish.

Dark brown color. Aroma of liquorice, mild chocolate and coffee. Flavour of salty chocolate, liquorice and some fruits. Extraordinary.

27-JAN-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". Dark brown with low beige head. Chocolate and cocoa nose a touch of cocoa. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, coffee, licorice, and coconut. Very dry and roasted. Almost barrel aged sensation with that coconut whiff. Long roasted and slightly bitter ending. Coca Cola like taste and carbonation. A tad thin. Quite drinkable chocolate drink:-)

50cl bottle. Poured a black coloured beer with a good formation so creamy and tan head but quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty, strong licorice, dark coffee. Flavour has toasted malts hints, dark coffee and black chocolate, dense on palate, burnt wood traces. The final is moderate bittery and strong toasty. Carbonation is soft. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily

Dark Brown beer with a mocca head. The focus is on the roasted notes with coffee, vanilla, coca-cola and chocolate. Light metal notes in the end together with a light bitterness.

Bottle. Black with almost no head. Strong roasted grain coffee and dark chocolate aroma and taste, and oddly enough, I don’t know if it’s just that the label put the idea in my head, but it actually does kind of taste like salty liqourice on the back end. I wish it had more carbonation.

Thanks mom. Pours a dark brown with some light showing through on the edges. One finger of light tan head. Nose is earthy and minerally with a good bit of acidic dark grain in the nose, plenty of sugar and caramel with some weak coffee roast. Flavor is slightly ashy and acrid, lots of char and dark grain. Full body and a bitter grain bite.
