COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En kraftig "Imperial Porter" med kaffetoner och eftersmak av saltlakrits. Inte lika dumdristig som storebror ”Idjit!” men har inga problem med att stå på egna ben!
English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

Thanks emacgee for sharing. Murky dark brown with a small sudsy tan head. Nose is sweet, some cocoa, lots of caramel, maple syrup, light roast. More balanced and a bit more ashy than the nose suggests. Mildly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium bodied, slightly creamy with average carbonation and a lightly bitter, coffee-centric finish. Purty good, but the nose is so sweet and sugary it’s a big turn-off.

This was a dissapointment after having the Idjit. This thing tastes like your chowing on a piece of charcoal. Insanely roasted and burnt with a dry finish like no other. You are left wanting to drink more but everytime you do you get thirstier... Its like a beer from the movie SAW... That doesnt really make sense but im sticking with it.

Bottle from storminorman. Dark brown, tan head. Very roasty and toasty up front aromas. Flavor is dry and toasty, light coffee, a bit too roasted for my liking. Finishes dry.

Bottle with what appears to be a best before of November 2012. Pours with a near black body and a small tan head. Aromas are of milk chocolate, dark currants (a bit sour), licorice, coffee and acidic roast. Nutty, earthy, fudge like. Smells very roast and a bit sour overall. Flavors are much better: milk chocolate, nutty, dark fruits. Mildly acidic, with notes of cranberries, currants and other dark fruit. Anise, salted caramel, a bit sweet. Bready, a touch of vanilla frosting. Feels a touch thin, in the body. Mild salinity. Low carbonation, medium sweet finish. Possibly a mild infection going on, but overall pretty tasty.
as it warms notes of hazelnuts and enjoyable chocolate come to the forefront. Bumped up the score a bit.

Bottle from a trade with Gnoff, thanks. Pours black with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma of malts, coffee and liquorice. Taste is hot malty, caramel sauce, roasted coffee with a good amount of hops presence. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
