COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En kraftig "Imperial Porter" med kaffetoner och eftersmak av saltlakrits. Inte lika dumdristig som storebror ”Idjit!” men har inga problem med att stå på egna ben!
English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

Bottle. Pours an opaque blackish color with some reddish notes and a beige head. Aroma is of roasted malt, burnt notes, dark fruits, coffee, light chocolate, salty notes and liquorice. The flavor follows the nose with lots of roast with the flavors of dark fruits, burnt and ashy notes, coffee, soy sauce, liquorice and subtle dark chocolate notes. The body is medium with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice Imperial Porter.

Smells like a typical porter. Dark in appearance as expected. Taste and palate were really rough with an alcoholy/cough syrupy undertone. Not a favorite.

2009 bottle gifted by and shared with friend. Consumed on September 27. Pours black with a thin grey head. Smell is sweet and malty with hints of liquorice and chocolate. Taste is malty and dry from bitter chocolate. Aftertaste is loaded with cacao. Have had fresh 1/2 Idjit and I must say that it very much benefits from being aged a couple of years.

(500ml bottled best by Nov ’11 thanks to blutt59) clear ruby-brown with soapy tan bubbles around the edges. Nose is smoky, bit cocoa, vanilla, cola, smells absolutely huge and delicious! Taste of mild smoke, raisin, cherry, a bit syrupy, cocoa and cream. Wish it tasted like it smelled! Well carbonated, artificial and smoky linger.

bottle split with mcberko. Pours solid black with a small tan head. Aroma of wood, smoke, chocolate, roasted malts. Flavour reflects the aroma. Full bodied, well balanced and some great flavours. Pretty good for a porter.
