COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En kraftig "Imperial Porter" med kaffetoner och eftersmak av saltlakrits. Inte lika dumdristig som storebror ”Idjit!” men har inga problem med att stå på egna ben!
English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Very nice one which reminds me how fine a good porter is. Mixture of chocolate, sourness and few hints of sugar combined with loads of drinkability. Thumbs up !

Pours out of the bottle in a deep dark black colour with steady low head and smooth body. Malty aroma with nuts and leaves. Taste of malt, leaves, chocolate, strong coffee, woods and black berries. Hints of sugar. Quite bitter but nice finish. Quaff- and enjoyable, but relatively boring and nothing that special.

Bottle. Pours a dark murky brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor has more sweetness than most imperial/strong porters. Additional notes of wood, dark fruits/plum, vanilla, chocolate, a hint of alcohol, dry, thin for the style. Perhaps a touch oxidized. Better than some of their IPAs.

Bottle - Pours a dark black w/tan head, not too much carbonation. Smells of dark malts, dark fruits, some roastiness, and a little bready. The taste is smooth and a little thin, bready, malty backbone, and chocolate.

Bottle@ZZT8: BBT1: The morning after: Thanks to Martinus: Small beige head/lacing on top of a deep dark brown colored beer. Aromas of coffee, roast, vinous, roasted barley malts. Flavours of coffee, espresso, coffee beans, bitters, roasted barley malts, spices, grass, light dry. Aftertaste is bitter, coffee, dry and light spicy. Low carbo, creamy oily mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a creamy oily texture. Very well balanced with loads of coffee. Easy but even a bit complex. Very nice.
